Now I’m not Not saying that your child is lying but perhaps there was a misunderstanding? Like the teacher asked if they could wait a few minutes and instead relaying the imminent accident they said ok because they wanted to please the teacher. Sometimes teachers want to complete instruction or directions if possible before and they ask if the child can wait. In any case, I don’t know and perhaps if you have a conversation rather than assume the teacher was making your child not go- perhaps you might figure something out.
