I remember one particular instance when I was, I believe, 13. My family was laughing and joking around, and I purposely lied about something that they knew. It was all in good fun, and my dad made a comment about me being a horrible liar. My only thought was ‘success!’ If my parents thought I couldn’t lie, they wouldn’t suspect me of lying. In short, I lied about my ability to lie.
