In the US, Chrysler products are absolutely the worst along with Fiat. Following closely in this competition of crappiness is Jaguar/Land Rover. Next in line is Nissan, which is a real shame because at one time they were nearly equally as reliable as Toyota and Honda. After that comes Mercedes Benz and BMW. These are the worst and most problematic cars in the US. There is a huge swath of moderately reliable cars that comprise most of the remaining brands, followed by the most reliable brands. From the bottom to the top of the best cars, we have Volkswagen/Audi, which is fairly reliable but difficult and expensive to fix. Next is Volvo which is pretty reliable but requires deep pockets to pay for proper maintenance and repairs. Then there is Hyundai/Kia, then Mazda, then Honda/Acura, and then the absolute pinnacle of automotive reliability, Toyota/Lexus.
