I lived in Nevada for many years, and I have seen numerous license plates of Wyoming transplants who relocated to Nevada in the 1990s to find work. Since that’s hundreds of miles away and most of the people from Wyoming I met never returned or returned only for visits, the state just doesn’t seem to have the drawing power necessary to increase its population.
