The owner also spent hours and hours doing the books by hand. I asked him about getting a laptop- he said it was too expensive. I asked him how long it took to the books, and he said he spent about 2–3 hours a day. I asked him if he spent just one hour a day doing books, could he use the other 2 hours to build business by selling to new stores? Because that was what a laptop would buy him- time and more than enough money to cover the cost of the laptop. He had the laptop the next week.
