Like the time I figured out that one child in my class thought that when I said everyone please at least sit on the potty that she had to produce pee and poop in order to leave the bathroom. It didn’t come out until I talked to her mom and her mom came back to me asking if she had to do both. Kids minds come up with a lot of meanings / translations we would never think of. Just take a moment to hear the other side.
