After I graduated, I met the teacher who had to read the story, who I had a good enough relationship with where we could joke with each other, and decided to ask them how I did on my exam since we weren’t given our grades on it at that point. As soon as I asked them, their face looked as if it was re-experiencing an old trauma. They told me I did well on the exam as a whole and altogether avoided mentioning anything about the story.
