While there are extraction-related jobs that pay well (oil/gas, coal, trona,etc.), the wages in Wyoming aren’t very high. While that’s somewhat offset by the lack of a state income tax, there aren’t a number of hig paying roles in the state and thus very limited reasons to move there.
