It’s always nice and easy at night - I work in a hospital where it’s busy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At night, the patients don’t magically get better, then sick again during the day. We also have less staff at night, so basically it’s the same amount of work with less help. You get lots of extra money - there is a shift differential for working at night, but it’s not mandatory by law (one of my former co-workers thought this was true) and it’s just a couple of extra dollars per hour, not the massive amount of money some people think.
