Fast forward I'm married, considering having kids and I decide to look up dyslexia at the Library. It's 1983 and the books I read said dyslexia was not hereditary. I had my kids, my daughter did fine no problems at 2 1/2 years was sounding out words. My son was much different. Getting him interested in learning never really happened.
